Splendid hotel, the Riviera (ex-hotel nice rivoli) is well located for discovering the delights of Nice. It is tucked away just off the avenue Jean Médecin and the Nice Etoile shopping arcade and Galerie Lafayette department store are also close by.

The Old Town and the Promenade des Anglais are within easy walking distance. The Nice Riviera is a friendly, welcoming 4 star hotel,. It offers comfortable accommodation, high standards of service and represents excellent value for money.

The night staff was great and accommodating, the pool was clean and well kept as was the sauna, the location was excellent, I had a room with a balcony which was lovely, the noise was well insulated out, and the products in the WC were Fragonard! I would not hesitate to stay there again or recommend it.

The hot tub was cold and the water chemistry not great. The day staff was a bit harsh but not out of the ordinary for France.

Very convenient location. Helpful front desk staff.

Really didn't like the proprietary coffee machine in the executive room (two coffee sachets for 5 nights)! A kettle, powder and tea bags would have been much better. Location of swimming pool on ground floor beside the lobby is not great.

Very central, close to restaurants, shopping, tram & rail. Quiet. Comfortable room. Helpful staff. Would recommend / return.

Nothing significant. Swimming pool quite a bit smaller than it appears in photos. Room very warm! Unless we mistaken, solarium appears to be sun terrace!

staff very friendly. comfortable beds very good location

overall the hotel was a bit shabby. the carpers in the corridors and bedrooms were quite stained. also a very chemical smell from towels

Location excellent, very central. Breakfasts good. Plenty of staff available at all times.

Traffic was noisy.

Excellent location - very central, close to shops, sights and bars/restaurants

We chose this hotel over another similar priced hotel because it had a jacuzzi - however, the jacuzzi was out of order for the duration of our stay and I expect for much longer. Also, the swimming pool was a lot smaller than it looked in the pictures! Maybe we should have chosen the hotel with the outdoor pool instead.

Hotel staff very, very friendly, baby cot and the extra beds were ready in the room, although we arrived early. Location of the hotel is ideal. Excellent service also at the hotel bar/cafe.

Despite booking the supposed best type of room at this hotel, we got a smelly room, with the elevator mechanism located above our room and noisy every time it was used, and a broken shower door. Second room assigned to us had smoke smell coming thru vents although we had requested non-smoking. It was worst room during trip costing the most.
